Your Library Card

When you apply for a Broadview Library card, you must present two pieces of identification which verify your name and Broadview address. We will accept any two of the following items:

    * Bank or Check book

    * Rental Agreement

    * Utility bill

    * Hospital bill

    * Driver's License or State ID

    * Property tax bill

    * Voter's registration card

    * Computerized bill from charge card

As part of a reciprocal agreement between libraries throughout the state of Illinois, we request that you resolve any delinquencies you may have on a library card from your previous location of residency before applying for your Broadview Library card.

In order to renew your card you must show one piece of identification with your address and have a card in good standing with no overdue materials and no fines. Library cards are renewed every three years.
